Capturing the content and promotional material involved several phases.  Before renovation work commenced, I decided to create a narrative surrounding the hotel and a treasure hunt introducing two key new characters.  We decided to shoot the teaser in black & white with a strong film noir style influence like previous films for Manchester.

With the hotel nearing completion, a stronger marketing push was needed to engage audiences and encourage room bookings, drawing them further into the world of Hotel Gotham.

Turning traditional hotel marketing on its head, I created a dramatic storyline that unfolded within the walls of the new hotel. A priceless gemstone necklace, mysterious new characters and a thief who knew exactly what he was looking for.

A classic ‘whodunnit’ began to unfold, inviting audiences to follow the mystery as the narrative played out across social media.
